Dr. Delgado was born in Habana, Cuba. She moved to the United States at the age of 3. She lived a couple of years in New Jersey but most of her childhood was spent in Miami, FL.
Dr. Delgado graduated from the University of Pittsburg with a degree in Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD). She continued her dental training at the University of Florida in an Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) residency.
Dr. Delgado married her High School sweetheart soon after graduating from dental school. They reside in Miramar, FL along with their 3 year old son, Zhaydyn, 1 year old son Aythynn and their 7 year old yellow laborador retriever called Bo. When not practicing dentistry, Dr. Delgado enjoys cooking, photography, boating, traveling and participating in community service events. She is a wish granter for the Make-a-Wish Foundation and does therapy work at nursing homes and hospitals with her dog Bo. Dr. Delgado also volunteers her time and dental skills to help patients in need. She enjoys mission trips to other countries and locally she participates with South Florida Baptist Mobile Dentistry and National Donated Dental Services. Dr. Delgado loves working with children and has been an active participant in the American Dental Association Gives Kids a Smile South Florida yearly event.
Dr. Delgado continually strives to increase her knowledge in the field of dentistry through extensive continuing education. She loves to educate her patients and creates a friendly environment where patients feel that their oral needs are being met in a caring way. She believes in conservative, preventative dentistry, and her goal is to increase the longevity of her patient's oral health. Dr. Delgado is fully committed to the highest standards of preventive, cosmetic and rehabilitative dentistry possible. Her emphasis is on gentle, yet thorough care. Her primary goal is to keep her patient's mouth disease free and to make their visit inviting and enjoyable.
